Joseph R. Ashor, ASA

Joe is the director of corporate development for Bodmer Price & Light, LLC.  He has over 17 years of experience in the business valuation, litigation support, and transaction advisory industry.  He holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation from the American Society of Appraisers.

Experience

Joe has provided valuation, dispute advisory, and transaction advisory services to public and private companies, as well as business owners and individuals contemplating the sale or acquisition of an equity asset.  Joe has provided these services for a multitude of purposes that include, but are not limited to, estate and gift taxation, mergers and acquisitions, management planning and advisory, Subchapter C to Subchapter S conversions, valuation discount opinions, solvency opinions, fairness opinions, financial reporting, and other tax, corporate, and litigation matters. 

 

Joe's experience encompasses a wide range of industries, including the commercial and residential construction industry, trade contractors, heavy machinery and equipment dealers, automotive suppliers and manufacturing, automotive dealerships and retail, freight trucking and transportation, healthcare services, medical and dental practices, software systems, design and related services, merchandise retailers, restaurants and food services, and numerous other industries.

Prior to joining Bodmer Price, Joe was a senior manager with Rehmann Consulting's valuation services group.
