Jason is the co-founder and managing director of Bodmer Price & Light, LLC.  He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), and he is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) from the American Society of Appraisers. He currently sits on the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountant’s Litigation & Business Valuation Task Force.

Experience

Jason has more than 18 years of experience in his field and formed Bodmer Price in March of 2021. He has consulted on 1,000+ litigation matters – performing business valuation, dispute advisory and forensic accounting services for hundreds of clients. He has extensive experience guiding clients through all phases of the litigation process, including discovery, mediation, arbitration and trial.
 

Jason has extensive experience providing valuation and litigation support services for numerous purposes, including marital dissolutions, shareholder disputes, commercial disputes, estate and gift taxation, financial reporting (e.g. purchase price allocations, asset impairment testing, and mark-to-market valuations), transaction advisory, and other corporate and litigation related matters.

Jason's experience as a testifying expert witness encompasses a wide range of industries and engagements, that include manufacturing, automotive suppliers, automotive dealerships, financial institutions, professional practices, medical practices, dental practices, private equity funds, construction contractors, restaurants and food services, retail, wholesale distribution, and numerous other industries. 

 

Prior to forming Bodmer Price, Mr. Bodmer was a managing director of Baker Tilly US, LLP, a large public accounting and advisory firm.
