Greg is a managing director of Bodmer Price & Light, LLC, where he leads the firm's valuation services group. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), which is a globally recognized designation awarded by the CFA Institute. Greg also holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation, which is a business valuation credential awarded to individuals who have achieved the highest level of education, training, and report writing for business valuation professionals.
Experience
With more than 17 years of experience in the valuation services industry, Greg has performed nearly 2,000 business valuation engagements, performing business valuations for companies with revenues ranging from under $1 million, to over $150 billion. Greg has extensive experience valuing businesses for both financial and tax reporting purposes, including estate and gift taxation, business combinations, purchase price allocations, impairment testing, valuation discount opinions (FLP/FLLC/undivided interests or tenant in common interests), Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP), Subchapter C to Subchapter S conversions, as well as management, transaction, and transition advisory purposes.
Greg's experience as a valuation expert encompasses a wide range of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, construction, software & technology, healthcare, financial services, automotive suppliers and dealerships, wholesale distribution, trucking, staffing, retail, restaurants, entertainment, medical practices, dental practices, professional practices (e.g. CPA firms, law firms, engineering and architecture firms, and other consulting practices), family limited partnerships, and numerous other industries.
Prior to joining Bodmer Price, Greg was a principal at Rehmann Consulting, where he led the firm's business valuation group. Prior to his tenure at Rehmann, Greg was a Vice President at Duff & Phelps.
