Don is a co-founder and managing director at Bodmer Price & Light, LLC.  He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser and Certified Valuation Analyst and has more than 16 years of experience in the financial valuation and litigation advisory services industry.  Prior to co-founding Bodmer Price, Don was a managing director at Baker Tilly US, LLP, a national public accounting and advisory firm, for nearly 10 years.

 

Don is a testifying expert and has been recognized by the courts as an expert in business valuation and forensic accounting.  Don was recognized as a 2015 “40 and Under 40” Honoree through the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) and Consultant Training Institute (CTI).

Don has consulted on 500+ litigation matters – performing business valuation, dispute advisory and forensic accounting services.  Don has extensive experience guiding clients through all phases of the litigation process, including discovery, mediation, arbitration and trial.
 

Don has significant experience providing valuation and litigation support services for numerous purposes, including marital dissolutions, shareholder disputes, commercial disputes, shareholder planning, estate and gift taxation, transaction advisory, financial reporting (e.g. purchase price allocations, asset impairment testing, and mark-to-market valuations), and other corporate and litigation related matters.

 

Don's experience as a financial expert encompasses a wide range of industries and engagements including manufacturing and distribution, construction, software & technology, healthcare, financial services, automotive suppliers and dealerships, wholesale distribution, trucking, staffing, retail, restaurants, entertainment, medical practices, dental practices, professional practices (e.g. CPA firms, law firms, engineering and architecture firms, and other consulting practices), family limited partnerships, and numerous other industries.
